Since the naming of Archades’s first female heir and the very public arrival of the Sandovals, the former royal family, the realm has held its collective breath waiting for the tensions in the capital city to come to a head – who will truly claim the throne, Crown Princess Nicolette or Lord Dante Sandoval? Yet there is more than simply a rivalry for the throne – there are feuds between Houses and families, plots and schemes, murders, alliances forged and broken, and under all of it, the ages-old war of politics that never ends.
