The leader's den is located within the truck of the tree. The leader, whenever they have an announcements, walks from their den, out onto the low hanging branch. The den is large enough for ten cats to fit in, allowing this place to be good for meetings.

The medicine cat's den is the only den that is not located at the base of the tree. The medicine cat's den is made beneath the knots of the roots that the tree keeps hidden very well. The area was hollowed out and the dirt cleared out. The huge den protects the sick cats of ShadowClan.

Beside the apprentice's den, located at the base of the tree, the warriors can be found. Their portion of the underground den is much, much larger than the apprentices. They are located beneathe the nursery to protect the youth of the clan.

The apprentice den is located beside the warrior's den, at the base of the large redwood tree. The den is beneathe the elder's den, ensuring that the elder's are always protected by the youth of the clan.

The elder's den is located higher within the redwood tree. There is a spot where the branches come together near the trunk. The area is wide and protected by the elements, keeping many of the elders safe from getting rained on.

In a hollowed out knot of the tree, protected by hanging moss from unwanted eyes, the nursery can be found. The kits are all kept in the deepest part of the knot, as far away from the outside world as possible.
