Stonefang has always been a tom with exceptionally high ambitions. His brother, Briarstorm, was never one to strive for excellency. But of course, that oversized lump of fur was named deputy instead of him. Scoff. Figures. All the same, Stonefang is a deeply loyal warrior to ThunderClan, even if he can be a bit prickly and egotistical (aka, downright full of himself). He has experienced much hardship in his life. Losing both his parents in the same moon. His apprentice (whom he had been in love with), taken by twolegs and never to be seen again. Then the fire.. oh the fire. The blaze left deep emotional scars on this cunning warrior, having been the last one to escape the elder's den before it was consumed by fire, and was forced to leave elders behind to burn alive. It haunts his every waking moment, and he has become spitefully bitter to the world. A madness has taken root within him - he doesn't sleep, he obsessively works, he is distant and angry, and he blames StarClan for his and his Clan's misfortune.

Please read up on Briarstorm's history to know more. If you adopt him, feel free to put his apprentice up for adoption if you'd ever like to turn that bit of his story into a plot. If not, then leave it at "she's never seen again".

This young tom may come across as weak and timid to some, but they would be sorely underestimating Merlinheart. He is a deeply intellectual tom, and former apprentice to Briarstorm. He isn't the best at fighting, but he's intelligent and sharp when it comes to strategy, and never misses a kill when on the hunt. He isn't timid, he's just quiet, and doesn't say something unless he feels it needs to be said. He is careful, and thinks everything through thoroughly. He's friendly, but would likely keep a small circle of friends - as introverted as he is, he's comfortable being by himself. He loves Briarstorm dearly, and they are certainly powerfully connected friends. Merlinheart has more fun than anything just having a real and deep conversation with someone, and discussing things that no one ever cares to think about. He isn't one to shy away from struggle, and has a determined and loving nature. Losing his sister to the twolegs when he was an apprentice had a strong effect on his once "care-free" outlook on life. He made a vow that he would one day find his sister, Rookpaw, in the twoleg place and bring her home. Named "Merlinheart" for his coat that resembles a merlin, and for his very thoughtful and compassionate nature.
