truthfully, he's always doubted fireleaf's ability to hold out as a medicine cat. not to say that she is bad at the job, just that her goals and personal strengths had always been her determination and will to become a warrior. he's worried she'll snap mentally and so he keeps a watchful - overly protective eye on her. fireleaf hates it but cares for her brother. there could be drama with this.


i foresee heatherstep having a bit of distaste toward fireleaf. she found out about the secret training sessions with another cat and has since felt like she is inferior. it could be torn between that and pity for her former apprentice that has been forced to take on the life of a medicine cat. fireleaf would hate the pity.


mother of the kit that fireleaf saved the night she ruined her warrior career. maybe these two developed a great friendship after fireleaf destroyed her life as a warrior to save her kit. there could be a bit of guilt about this too.


the kit she saved. i can see fireleaf caring deeply for this young warrior and constantly wanting to know he is okay. this could be the one thing that she's poured her devotion into and her belief that she did the right thing. i would love for oakstep to be a good friend and trouble maker in her life. we could have lots of fun with it too if we wanted to get crazy with the plot.
